**Northbound I-880 5th Ave/Embarcadero exit. Left to sign onto Embarcadero; down 1/4 mile to the right.
**Southbound I-880 16th street exit off ramp right on Embarcadero and down 1/4 mile - hotel is on left.
Route Description:
5K and 10K route start at same point near 568 Bellevue in front of the Band Stand area at the Lake. One complete loop around the lake for the 5K and a double loop for the 10K.

Lake Merritt Park
Lake Merritt is a focal point, it stands as the jewel of Oakland, even crowned with lights. A unique fresh and salt-water lake, the largest such lake located within an urban area consisting of 3.4 miles around the circumference of the lake, covering 155 acres of land. The depth of Lake Merritt varies upon how much water is allowed to filter in from the Estuary and upon rain water intake.
